Lottery Time Gamble V1.3
Written By Mark Taylor (c)
TryThat SoftWare 1996
I don't like doing Docs,so this will be short and to the point :)
DISCLAIMER - standard type,ie this works on MY system,does no harm here,and
takes up disc space,you may alter the code to suit yourself,but you CANNOT
release the code,plus I'd like some sort of credit if my code has been hacked.
Whats this program do then -
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well its based on the UK lottery,and the User bets On-line time,to try and
gain more On-line time :)
You can customize 'TimeLoto' to a great degree,by looking at the '#Define'
statements and altering them to your choice i.e. if you want 7 balls instead of
6,then change '#define BALLS 6' to '#define BALLS 7'
How to get it going -
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Please make sure you have 'SET MEX_INCLUDE=D:\Max\M' either in Autoexec.bat
(DOS) or Config.Sys (OS/2).
2. Unzip 'Tmloto??.Zip' to a separate directory i.e. Max\TimeLoto.
3. Run Mex(p) Timeloto\Timeloto ,this will create the *.VM file
4. Load in menus.ctl into a text editor,and find the main menu section or
which ever menu you like, and add the following line some where in that
menu - 'Mex timeloto\timelotto Disgrace "Time Lottery" '
5. Run Silt(p) Max
6. Now go and play with it.
My System -
~~~~~~~~~~~
486/66 - 32 MB Ram - OS/2 - Max/2 3.01
General Comments -
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a couple of comments saying out of memory,not sure why but you could try
playing about with the '-h' and '-s' options in Mex(p),also when some people
use the *.VM file,they report the error 'file format error in m\timeloto.vm'
I've no idea why this happens either :( but I've included my 'Max.MH' file,
just in case its not standard.
Registration -
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As with Maximus itself,TimeLoto is FREE,but please Netmail or E-Mail me,so I
know its worth my effort to continue programming for Maximus,plus you will get
prompt help with any additions you'd like,and bug fixes.
